Sunday April 19th: “Good News” Spotlight

News that the West Pembroke School Arts Committee earned the March Public Service Excellence Award, the SPCA said the Seniors Golfers Society raised $5,725 to support veterinary care services, and Bermuda was named Best Weekend Destination in the World by the Global Traveler Leisure Lifestyle Awards were among the positive news stories from the past week.

In additional good news, Premier David Burt welcomed FA Cup champions North Village Rams to the Cabinet Office to celebrate their victory, and Blake Montgomery signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Ottawa Senators starting in the 2026–27 season.
