David Morris Wins Two Hurdle Events In NY
Bermudian athlete David Morris had a superb performance at the 2026 NYSAIS Outdoor Championships at Icahn Stadium in New York, winning two events.
Morris, competing for the Masters School men’s track and field team, won the men’s varsity 110-meter hurdles after advancing through the morning preliminary rounds. He finished first in the final with a personal-best time of 15.43 seconds.
He secured his second victory of the meet in the men’s 400-meter hurdles. Morris placed first with a time of 56.16 seconds, which set a new personal best and broke The Masters School program record.
