Kane Crichlow Joins Dagenham & Redbridge FC
Bermudian footballer Kane Crichlow has been signed by Dagenham & Redbridge F.C.
A spokesperson said, “Dagenham & Redbridge are delighted to announce that Midfielder Kane Crichlow has joined the club on a two-year deal from Sutton United. Crichlow’s signing is the second under boss Lee Allinson.
“Beginning his football journey in Bermuda, Crichlow moved to Spain in 2012 to join the academy of Cornellà before later continuing his development in England with AFC Wimbledon’s youth setup. His performances attracted the attention of Watford, who signed him in 2019 on a two-year deal. Crichlow made his professional debut for the Hornets in the EFL Cup against Newport County in September 2020, gaining experience in a professional environment before departing the club at the end of the 2021/22 season.
“After leaving Watford, Crichlow enjoyed spells abroad and in non-league football, joining Greek side Episkopi before returning to England with Bishop’s Stortford in 2023. He quickly made an impact, scoring a dramatic late equaliser and converting in the penalty shootout during an FA Trophy upset against Ebbsfleet United, before netting five goals in a single FA Trophy tie against Aldershot Town.
“A successful trial earned him a move to Chelmsford City in 2024, which was followed by a switch to Sutton United the following summer. After eleven appearances in all competitions for Sutton, Crichlow returned to Chelmsford on loan until the end of the season.
“Internationally, Crichlow has represented Bermuda at multiple youth levels and made his senior debut in 2021, scoring against Canada in World Cup qualifying before reaching ten international goals with a strike against Antigua & Barbuda in 2024.”
