Open Airways To Mark Asthma Day On May 5th

Open Airways will host a free World Asthma Day event on May 5, featuring education, consultations, and activities promoting active living.

A spokesperson said, “Come for free asthma education & receive a spacer [with demo] and microfiber cloth.

“Sign up to schedule a free one-on-one consult at which you will receive a free asthma booklet and free pillow voucher.

“Remember, asthma is treatable! No one should suffer with asthma!

“Join us to:

• Learn about asthma triggers from one of our asthma educators
• Speak with a pharmacist about available treatments
• Enjoy the entertainment from local choirs and bands, as well as participate in jump-roping or an exercise class! Stay Active with Asthma! Exercise is for everyone!

“The event is scheduled for May 5th [Tuesday] at City Hall from 11:00am to 1:30pm.”
