Bermuda produced a fitting finale to an impressive week of cricket, sealing top spot in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Americas Sub-Regional Qualifier with a dominant 146-run win over Brazil at the North Field, National Sports Centre this weekend.

Having already defeated Belize and Panama, Bermuda rose to the occasion again on the final day, with Delray Rawlins delivering a brilliant 121 from 66 balls to power the home side to 220 for four. The bowlers then matched the batting display, led by Luke Horan’s four for 13, as Brazil were dismissed for 74 in 16 overs. It was a polished all-round performance from Bermuda, who completed an unbeaten campaign and advanced to the Regional Final in emphatic fashion.
