Future Leaders Appoints McKenzie‑Kohl Tuckett
Future Leaders Bermuda has appointed programme graduate McKenzie-Kohl Tuckett as its new Executive Director, succeeding founder and newly appointed National Security Minister Ryan Robinson Perinchief.
A spokesperson said, “Future Leaders Bermuda is pleased to announce the appointment of McKenzie‑Kohl Tuckett as its next Executive Director, marking a proud moment for both the organisation and one of its earliest programme graduates. McKenzie-Kohl will succeed Ryan Robinson Perinchief, the outgoing executive director, who founded the organisation in 2017.
“McKenzie‑Kohl’s journey with Future Leaders Bermuda spans nearly a decade, after participating in the organisation’s flagship summer programme in 2018. Soon after being inducted as a Future Leader, she began serving as a Youth Director with responsibilities ranging from programme management to facilitation.
“In January 2025, she was promoted to Assistant Director – allowing her to continue expanding her leadership capabilities while co-leading the delivery of the summer programme and the development of soon-to-be-announced opportunities and initiatives. Her appointment as Executive Director reflects a natural progression built on service, leadership, and a commitment to empowering Bermuda’s young people.”
Speaking on her appointment, McKenzie‑Kohl Tuckett said, “Future Leaders Bermuda shaped me as a young person, and it is an honour to now lead the organisation that helped define my path. I am committed to building on our foundation, expanding opportunities for youth empowerment, and ensuring that every young person in Bermuda feels seen, supported, and inspired to lead.”
A spokesperson added, “This leadership transition follows the recent appointment of Ryan Robinson Perinchief, Founder of Future Leaders Bermuda, as a Senator and Minister of National Security. Minister Robinson Perinchief will remain as the Chair of the charity’s Board of Trustees to ensure a seamless transition.”

Minister Robinson Perinchief shared, “Future Leaders Bermuda has always been about investing in young people and strengthening our community. McKenzie‑Kohl represents the very best of what the programme was designed to cultivate.
