Photos: Art Drop Bermuda Highlights Artists
Artist Michaela Antoinette hosted the second Art Drop Bermuda exhibition at the Trudeau Ballroom & Terrace at the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, showcasing about 90 works by 18 local artists.
The free event was sponsored by the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, Pembroke Tile & Stone and the Bermuda Arts Council.
Ms Antoinette, who launched Art Drop Bermuda in 2024, said works from the exhibition would remain on display throughout next month at the newly renovated Pembroke Tile & Stone and Bermuda Arts Council showroom.
She added that the exhibition gave local artists the chance to reach new audiences.
“Audiences who came to support a particular artist got to enjoy all the other artists’ works as well,” she said.
“We sold a lot of works and, hopefully, we can continue to sell more.”
The exhibition featured figurative expressionism, sculpture, photography, pottery, murals, paper flowers, fluid art and mixed-media works.
Artists included Meredith Andrews, Robert Bassett, Eli Cedrone, Alice Coutet, Morgan Dagata, Barbara Dillas, Katie Ewles, Katarina Hoskins, Phoebe Hughes, Michelle Lindo, Sandra Scott, Josh Stevens, S I, Toni Tonae, Doris Wade, Leah Wanklyn and Christina Wilson.
Music was provided by DJ Purple Ferdinand. Art Drop Bermuda also featured a digital catalogue and a QR-code payment system for buyers.
