1927 Bermuda £1 Note Auction Starts At $6200
A nearly century-old Bermuda Government £1 banknote will be offered at auction in London this week with a starting price of £4,600 [approximately US$6,230].
Dated September 30, 1927, the note is described as being “astonishingly high grade.”
It is part of the World Banknotes auction that will be held on September 2 and 3 and comprises over 1,100 lots, including approximately one dozen featuring Bermuda currency.
