Sailors Finish Sixth At Team Racing Worlds
Bermuda’s sailors finished sixth overall at the 2026 Team Racing World Championship, which concluded after four days of competition in Stockholm, Sweden.
The strong showing by the team placed Bermuda in the top half of the 12-team field.
The eight-member team comprised skippers Joshua Greenslade and Alan Frith, along with Amelia Lewis, Cecelia Wollman, Samantha Dill, Sebastian Round, Emily Davis and Aiden Young.
Bermuda entered the final day’s “King of the Castle” knockout series in seventh place before defeating the Bahamas and host nation Sweden in successive races.
The team then faced Ireland in the contest for fifth place, with Ireland recording the victory and Bermuda completing the championship in sixth position.
