DeSilva-Andrade Wins First Match In Seoul
Bermudian boccia player Yushae DeSilva-Andrade made a winning start at the Seoul 2026 World Boccia Championships, defeating Simona Blažková of the Czech Republic 9-4 in the BC1 women’s competition.
The Bermudian is scheduled to face China’s Yuan Yichu in her next match.
The event runs from August 24 to September 4, with competition taking place from August 27 to September 3 at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Arena in South Korea, with over 400 athletes from over 45 nations taking part.
