Adio DeShield-Tankard Scores In Thomas 9-1 Win
Bermudian footballer Adio DeShield-Tankard scored in Thomas College’s 9-1 victory over Central Maine Community College at the CMCC Turf Athletic Complex.
DeShield-Tankard found the net in the 43rd minute to give Thomas a 6-0 lead at half-time. Fellow Bermudians Tre Burgess and Justin Sukdeo also featured for the Terriers in the exhibition match.
Brewer Osteen scored a hat-trick, David Ivarsson netted twice, and Andrew Hodgins, Zayin Clugh and Daud Abdi added one goal each. Daniel Semple scored Central Maine’s lone goal in the 65th minute.
