Event To Highlight MRI Advances & Dr Weldon
Bermuda HealthCare Services and Brown-Darrell Clinic will host the next Docs for Dinner, with Dr Carika Weldon to serve as the featured speaker, while a separate physician-focused presentation, BHCS will showcase the clinical capabilities of its new MRI machine.
A spokesperson said, “Bermuda HealthCare Services [BHCS] and Brown-Darrell Clinic will bring together Bermuda’s medical community for the next Docs for Dinner, featuring two distinct physician-focused presentations on advances in genetics and diagnostic imaging.
“The event will be held in the Princess Victoria Room at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess Hotel, 76 Pitts Bay Road, Hamilton, with cocktails at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner and presentations at 7:00 p.m.
“Featured speaker Dr Carika Weldon, PhD, MRSB, FIBMS, Founder and CEO of CariGenetics, will present “Key Insights from Genetically Testing 1% of Bermuda: From Medication Safety to Hidden Disease Risk.” Her presentation will examine what genetic testing is revealing about medication safety, previously unidentified disease risks, and the potential implications for patient care in Bermuda. CariGenetics is pleased to offer everyone attending this special Docs for Dinner event free pharmacogenetics testing.
