Lee Terceira Wins Two Tennis Titles In Atlanta
Bermuda’s Lee Terceira made an excellent showing to win the girls’ U12 singles and doubles titles at the USTA Level 5 Sacta Harvest tournament in Atlanta.
A Bermuda Lawn Tennis Association spokesperson said, “What an incredible weekend for Lee! With explosive athleticism, fierce competitive spirit and nerves of steel, she captured both the girls U12 singles and doubles titles at the USTA Level 5 tournament Sacta Harvest in Atlanta.
“Having qualified the previous weekend for the Orange Bowl Masters Qualifier , Lee opted to compete in Atlanta , entering both the singles competition, which featured 24-players entered in the U12 girls category, and the doubles event.
“Lee powered through the tournament winning her quarterfinal 6-3,6-1, semifinal 6-3, 6-3 and the final 6-1,6-1. She also teamed up to win a thrilling doubles final in a tiebreak 9-8 (7-4), delivering determination, confidence and composure when it mattered most.
