10 Yr Old Boy Struck By MotorBike While Walking
This morning a 10 year old Warwick boy was struck by a motorbike while walking across a pedestrian crossing.
He was taken taken via ambulance to King Edward Memorial Hospital for treatment. The extent of the young boy’s injuries have not been released.
The accident occurred on Middle Road in Warwick near the Warwick Post Office.
Police say that appears that the 10 year old was walking across the pedestrian crossing after traffic had stopped to allow him to cross.
A motorcycle rider was traveling east on Middle Road and collided with the boy.
The motorbike rider, a 17 year Sandy’s Parish man, sustained facial injuries and was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment.
