Bermuda Victorious Against Cayman!

The Bermuda National Rugby Teams have excelled in their Cayman tour, with the men’s senior team just winning their match today 26-15.

The Senior match was recognized by the International Rugby Board as a full International match, with caps being awarded to the players. Bermuda’s win sees them swap places with the Cook Islands to move up to 55th in the world rankings, out of 95 nations.

Earlier in the day, Bermuda’s junior teams set the tone with the Under 10, Under 12 and Under 14 age groups all winning their matches.

Bermuda was the defending champion going in, and retained the annual Conyers Youth Challenge Cup.

The team, which consists of over 100 players and support staff, depart Cayman tomorrow aboard a chartered plane, arriving in Bermuda at 7pm.
