Premier’s Reggae Namesake Shot Three Times

Mad-CobraJamaican reggae singer “Mad Cobra”, whose real name is Ewart Brown, was shot last night in Jamaica and is reported to be in serious condition. The DJ is best known for his hit song from the 1990′s ‘Flex’, which was widely played around Bermuda.

Jamaican authorities say the 42-year-old singer was shot Tuesday night, with eye witnesses saying that nine gunshots were fired at the scene and that Mad Cobra was running from the scene when he got hit. Conflicting reports have the singer shot two or three times, and the location being Portmore or Kingston. As of this writing, no arrests have been made.

The “other” Ewart Brown, Bermuda’s Premier, has his own Jamaican connection as he resided in Jamaica as a teenager where he excelled in sports while attending St Jago High School in Spanish Town.

    I know that Pat and the crew are on top of everything but please let us know ASAP when you find out who got the Caviar and Smirnoff deal thats comming up and who will have the rights to the oil drilling rig seen 40 miles off the east end.
