Alex DeCouto Buys Furniture Flair Ltd.
Greymane Contracting Ltd President Alex DeCouto is the new owner and president of the 30 year old furniture dealership Furniture Flair Ltd.
“Furniture Flair are authorized dealers for a number of outstanding brands like Teknion (office furniture,) Milliken (carpet), and Hunter Douglas (window treatments). Consolidating operations will allow us to make an investment in the marketing of these brands to the public and the design community, as well as to fit out a fantastic Furniture and Flooring Resource Center in the near future.” Alex DeCouto
The company said that as “Necessitated by a shrinking market, the take-over and reorganization requires several staff to be made redundant, with all receiving full packages as required under Bermuda law.”
In order to provide continuity, previous owner/manager David Pantry will be retained under separate contract for an extended period in a sales and project management capacity.
