Slideshow & Results: Southside Cycling Race

[Updated with results] The Bermuda Bicycle Association hosted a road race in Southside this morning [June 5]. The start of the race was delayed due to a three car accident on Southside Road in St David’s which saw two cars seriously damaged. After receiving word that the road was clear, the cyclists took off in groups from the Clearwater start. We will update with results once available. You can video five videos of the groups starting on Bernews TV, and photos below:

In the Adult A Division, Dominique Mayho riding for Team Madison took the line honors, while Damian Sharp for Team Fast Forward Bicycle Works finished second and Adam Harbutt riding for Team Madison finished third.

Team Crime Stoppers rider Anthony Bartley powered his way to victory in the Adult B Division, while Marcelino Ferreira riding for Team Winners Edge finished second and Joey Richardson finished third.

The Adult C Division was won by Jason Ming riding for Team Crime Stoppers, while Nigel Godfrey representing Team Tokio finished second and Martin Bolton riding for Team Fast Forward Bicycle Works finished third.

Daniel Oatley won the Junior A Division representing Team Fast Forward Bicycle Works, while Rico Smith finished second and Nakeno Creighton riding for Team Focus finished third.

The Junior B Division was won by Zion Dowling representing Team Focus, while Victoria Davis riding for Team Winners Edge finished second and Alex Pilgrim riding for Team Fast Forward Bicycle Works finished third.

Malik Joell riding for Crime Stoppers won the Junior C Division race, with Alex Bordage finishing second and Jayden Ming riding for Crime Stoppers finished third.
