  3. wondering says:

Thankful that there appears to be a glimmer of hope in our young people who are carrying on the traditions that have been set before us and opening doors where others were not permitted before.

I am not a dreadlocks, Rasta or whatever one may be classed as (forgive my ignorance) but such people were not permitted to do much of anything and it is so wonderful that BERMUDIANS and FOREIGNERS alike enjoyed the most SPLENDID CUP MATCH for years. It wasn’t without fault but I am here to exemplify the POSITIVE!!

We as a PEOPLE which includes all must continue to come together and perpetuate ourselves into the future

    • Ignorance isn't a disease says:

Yes, we will excuse your ignorance, I am assuming that what you meant to say did not come out correctly, or maybe it did. wow!

    • Anthony Richardson says:

      @ wondering
Please forgive my ignorance. What relevance is dreadlocks etc to anything regarding cupmatch? Are you inferrng that Oronde’s success as Captain this year and in general are in any way impacted by his hair style? Also @ wondering, are you a Bermuda resident?

    • bigga says:

I totally see where you are coming from wondering…..I think wondering is saying we have a come a long way….because we all now some time back dreadlocks were frowned upon in our society….we have only seen rastas (Oronde and his dad )playing cupmatch in recent years……before rastas were never picked for cupmatch.
