Upcoming: Fatiyama’s Fashion Show
Hamilton shoppers will treated to some glamorous trends — as well as some smoothly choreographed moves — when a fashion flash mob descends on Reid Street on Saturday afternoon [Nov. 26].
Elliot Street boutique Fatiyama — which combines vintage ’70s, ’80s and 90s fashions with modern looks — is organising the “Glam Rock” event which gets underway at 1 pm outside Trends.
“This will be an event that will have your fashion taste buds dancing to a 1970s groove,” said a Fatiyama spokesman. “From hourglass-tight dresses to sleek fur boots, this will be the main hotspot for the day. All items are exclusive but elegant at the same time.
This will be the third fashion show to be launched by Fatimaya and the first to use the flash mob format.
“This event will be full of excitement and it’s a first for Bermuda,” said the Fatiyama spokesman. “There has never been something like this before.
Fatimaya was created to promote unity for women and to give a sense of identity and pride in the clothing they wear.
“After the fashion show there will be Small Business Saturdays Sale at Inna Heights — located above Chewstick — including everything from clothing, and accessories to oils, incense and massage therapy for inner healing. There will also be 10 percent off all Fatimaya new arrivals. This will take place from 2-8 P.M.”
