Island Takes The Cake With Special Cruise

Bermuda takes the cake as far as American and Canadian cupcake aficionados are concerned, with a special cruise to the island by professional and amateur bakers — as well as those who just enjoy the snacks — planned for this summer.

Being held aboard Celebrity Cruise’s “Celebrity Summit” from August 19-26, “The Cupcake Lovers Cruise” will Feature workshops by Karen Tack and Alan Richardson, “New York Times” bestselling authors of “Hello, Cupcake!” and “What’s New, Cupcake?”, bakery owners Matt Lewis and Renato Poliafito, authors of the cookbooks “Baked” and “Baked Explorations”, Allison and Matt Robicelli of Brooklyn’s renowned Robicellis bakery and other guests.

A business class on how to start your a custom cupcake company will also be held and the trip will culminate with a cupcake beach party in Bermuda.
