I encourage anyone with a blackberry or android phone to install lookout on their phones. It is a free app that when placed on your phone will allow you to track your phone using google maps. This way if one of these punks that are to lazy to work, steals your phone or tablet you or the police can track it. Or if you want you can at least wipe the phone clean or lock it so that it will no longer be useable. Luckily I have never been robbed but I have misplaced the phone and was able to track it using a friend tablet and was able to turn on the audible alarm to help me locate it once I was close to it. There are similar apps for the iphone but I cant remember what they are called, perhaps someone on this blog can let the iPhone users know what it is.

  5. Death to Party Politics says:

So by the sounds of it, you had a group of 4 men, on Sunday the 15th and Monday the 16th, committing these acts: robbing a taxi driver and attacking someone on their bike. I had to read the article twice to make sure I wasn’t having deja vu…

Wish I could go back to the 70′s/80′s. This is crazy. How do we protect ourselves and families from these idiots. Enough is enough! Bermuda get it together!!

  17. Dave says:

Probably waited til an older lady went past.

Oh well, time to get a faster bike, so in case this happens to me I’ll leave them behind.

  18. Tommy Chong says:

It disgust me to see how there are those who actually glorify these thugs in Bermuda. It also disgust me how the Police are so ignorant to the fact there are key areas where these thugs hang out & BPS fails to focus on those areas. I’ve seen patrols of four police lined up walking through Victoria, Parlaville & other town parks constantly. One officer patrolling these spots is enough. Send the other three to the areas where these low lives sit all day selling drugs or bragging about who they beat up. I understand that police can’t arrest them without evidence but government can put no loitering signs up where they deal & when they do loiter then arrest them for that. Put the squeeze on them daily using the misuse of drugs act which can be used on anyone police have an inkling of suspicion about. Give them daily cavity searches till their rumps are sooooo sure!!! they can’t sit on the wall anymore. Make laws that limit the amount of physical cash that someone can pay on an item without using a card. These punks travel around with rolls in their pockets laughing at the hard working Bermudians. I know car sales men who have had a briefcase full of cash handed to them as payment. Those who whine about rights being revoked BOOO!!!! HOOOO!!!! Who will you whine to when you can’t walk down the street without being robbed by thugs. Back in the day robocop (BDA Cop’s Nickname not the movie) would ram people who gave him a chase off their mopeds if given chase & no one could say police brutality because the judge would say you should’ve stopped for the flashing lights. Now people can get away with murder LITERALLY. I’ve found loads of you tube videos where these gang members are bragging & throwing up signs even getting little kids in the neighborhood to do the same on video. I’ve also found a video where two young girls not in sight but their voices can be heard in the back are instigating a bigger younger bum to beat up a smaller older bum. What’s even more disturbing in the video is that a man & a woman who appears to be in a KEM nurse uniform break up the fight only after the taller bum has gotten a bunch of hard blows to the head of the old one. IMO these people in the video should be brought in for questioning & all should be charged with disturbing the peace because the nurse & other guy should have stopped the argument before it escalated & the young girls should’ve not instigated it by filming & taunting. BPS & BDA Government have privy to you tube just as I do why not utilize it & use it to pinpoint problem people in Bermuda & deal with them even if it means charging their parents with neglect & putting their kids in the Behavioural modification program at MAWI.

  19. What Next?2012 says:

@Tommy Chong how do we find this video on You Tube? I would report it to the BPS as you should since you have seen it. Why wait for someone to do it, that is what is so wrong with Bermuda. Come on Man!

    • Tommy Chong says:

You’re right I should report it but I guess I’m becoming desensitized also because many reports I’ve made in the past about the things I’ve witness have lead to me sitting in the station being interrogated like I was the criminal then told the police will look into it. The frustrating thing is I believe nothing comes out of my reports. I remember once as a teenager being held at knifepoint on court street by one thug while the other tried to get in my pockets. I actually got free because a bum grabbed the one with the knife from behind. Anytime I’ve seen that bum after I give him whatever money I have on me or buy him something to eat but I think he’s past now R.I.P. That day I was mugged my parents insisted I report it so reluctantly I did & after the police hearing my story they put me in their cheese sandwich & drove me around back of town telling me to point out the suspects. So this is why I don’t but if you want to try your luck the video is title fight in flatts bermuda. Please be aware this video is quite disturbing & should not be viewed by children. Its made my stomach crawl hearing the giggles of the two young girls in the background. I found this video looking for tourism commercials for Bermuda & was going to request you tube take it down so tourist don’t happen upon it. I haven’t done so yet because I wanted to mention it here first so those concerned with Bermudian society who may have more pull then me could do something about it. Good luck with reporting it please request you tube take it down once you do so & I apologies for those it may affect in the video but honestly you need help & maybe it will be provided to you from this.
