October 16, 2012

Due to the impending hurricane, he Bermuda Economic Development Corporation [BEDC] has postponed their 3rd Annual Business Networking Matters which was due to be held today [Oct 16] at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess.

A statement said: “Please be advised that due to the impending hurricane that is scheduled to hit Bermuda this afternoon, the decision was made to postpone the 3rd Annual Business Networking Matters event, rather than risk low turnout and the safety of those who may be determined to come out despite the bad weather.

“We are planning to hold the event in November to coincide with Global Entrepreneurship Week and are waiting on availability from the Hotel. For those who have already registered and paid for the seminar, we will honour all tickets on the new date and if for some reason they can’t attend on the new date a refund will be issued.
