Student Publishes Relationship Advice Book

February 19, 2013

Rodney Smith JrRodney Smith Jr. is a 23 year old Bermudian college student who has recently self published his first book entitled “Words From a Gentleman: From a Good Man to Great Women: Advice on Relationships”.

Currently away in school studying computer science at Alabama A&M in Huntsville,  Mr Smith said, “It’s a book geared towards women to inspire and empower women with their relationship issues.

“I started by gaining a pretty good following by writing advice to women on Facebook and with the request of many of my readers, i wrote a book. I have just recently released it.

“It’s selling in the city where attend school in Huntsville and sales are doing well. I have all different women buying the book from nurses, teachers and students – you name it.

“The book just came out in January and has almost sold out. I have recently put it online to sell as well. I will be having it in stores in Bermuda very soon and also looked to get it out there more in the USA as well.

Mr Smith said in addition to writing the book, he also wakes up every morning at about 5.00am and sends out motivational inbox and text messages to women on his Facebook page.

“I do this because I have found that you never know what some kind words of encouragement does to a person. and how it could change their bad day into a good day. This is something that I enjoy”.

“My aim from all of this is to empower, motivate and inspire all women around the world and I look to share my book with as many women as I can”, Mr Smith concluded.

  12. Orbit says:

This is funny, why you spending money on a book when you should know most of the stuff ANYWAYS! Be a real man and treat women with respect, dignity, love, etc. That’s all you need. Not some book to offer advice, make your own path and figure women out, that’s what life is for. It’s common sense lol!

    • Rich says:

One would think that reading comprehension is common sense as well, but you prove that what some may think is common isn’t so common.

The book is not aimed at men, it’s advice for women.

Thankfully some of us are raised well, so dealing with relationships would be ‘common sense’. Some of us were not so privileged.
