Rider Arrested After Collision: Suspicion Of DUI

A 51-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving after crashing his motorcycle in Warwick.

A police spokesperson said, “Around 12:15am on Wednesday, April 10th police and first responders attended a reported serious single vehicle motorcycle collision on St. Mary’s Road in Warwick near the junction with Lorraine Drive.

“The rider, a 51 year old Devonshire man, was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. At last check the victim was in stable condition. He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving.

“The motorcycle was extensively damaged. Inquiries into this collision are ongoing and any witnesses are encouraged to contact PC Tiffani DeSilva on 295-0011.”

    this man could have had a medical problem, what about getting some facts?? All these single vehicle late night accidents in Bermuda and you all assume the driver/rider was drunk – every heard of an imp?? THINK people!
