Psychic “Picks Up” Bermuda Connection On TV
A recent episode of a TLC reality television show depicted a psychic medium apparently picking up a Bermuda connection from someone she came into contact with.
Long Island Medium is an American reality documentary television series on TLC that debuted in September 2011.
Based in New York, the series stars Theresa Caputo as a medium who can communicate with the deceased.
She says her supernatural abilities started at age 4, and she initially suffered from anxiety for years until she found out that she has the ability to communicate with spirits. She has been a practicing medium for over 10 years and is a certified medium with the Forever-Family Foundation.
The episode showed Ms Caputo talking to someone. She asked them who the “father figure” that passed away was, and the person replied it was their father, who passed away nine years ago from a heart attack.
Ms Caputo said, “I’m a medium, which means that I’m able to connect with people that have crossed over, and your dad is taking this opportunity to step forward.”
She then asked the person, “How do you connect with Bermuda?”
The person replied that he recently took his mother to Bermuda for her 75th birthday, and Ms Caputo told the person she was getting messages that indicated, “It is his way of acknowledging that he went with you in spirit to celebrate mom’s birthday.”
Ms Caputo went on to say that the father, as in the spirit of the father, showed her his wedding photos, said his wife was “cute”, and said his wife planned to get the photos re-done. The person confirmed that his mother planned to have their old wedding photos retouched.
There are conflicting views about Ms Caputo’s claims, with Inside Edition saying, “enjoy it for the entertainment, but you may want to take it with a giant grain of salt,” while some of her 460,000+ Facebook fans clearly believe in her abilities to communicate with the dead.
Ms Caputo talks about being a medium:
This woman is the biggest fraud out there. At the end of the day they are only preying on people’s emotions and with a bit of digging they can tell you anything that you want to hear. Be very warey of people asking for money for these services. FRAUD!
You’ve clearly had a bad experience with someone or you’re just a negative nancy. Although there are frauds out there, Theresa is an incredibly talented medium, nowhere near a fraud.
