Nahki Wells Scores For 4th Consecutive Game

August 17, 2013

Despite a goal by Bermuda’s Nahki Wells, Bradford City suffered their first loss since being promoted today [Aug 17], losing 2-1 to Port Vale.

Wells scored for his fourth straight League One Game, finding the back of the net in the 59th minute to get Bradford’s name on the scoresheet and pull them to 1-1. However Vale regained the lead eight minutes later, and the game ended 2-1.

Bradford’s blog describes Wells goal by saying: “Wells’ initial shot for goal is shoveled away by Neal into the path of the lurking Thompson, who drives the ball back for goal with a volley. Thompson’s effort seems to take a slight deflect as it pops into Wells’ path and the Bermudian converts from inside the area.”
