Condolences Expressed To Bennett-Bean Family

December 18, 2013

On Monday [Dec 16] Senators expressed condolences to the family of Lorrie Bennett-Bean, whose death marked the third tragedy to strike the family this year. Mrs Bennett-Bean’s family is left to mourn her, along with her son and husband who were both killed in accidents earlier this year.

Mrs Bennett-Bean’s 25-year-old son Torrie Baker died in January 2013 in in a cycle collision on Mullet Bay Road in St. George’s, and less than a month later, her husband Millard ‘Chris’ Bean, 49, was killed in an industrial accident at Morgan’s Point. Both gentlemen were popular and well liked in the community, as was Mrs Bennett-Bean who died recently at age 47 following a battle with cancer.

Senator Renee Ming spoke in the Senate on Monday to express her condolences, and all the Senators — Government, Opposition and Independent — were associated with Senator Ming’s remarks.
