Woman Detained After Failing Alco-Analyzer

A woman riding a motorcycle was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving whilst impaired on Friday night [Feb 21] after Police witnessed her riding the bike in an erratic manner.

A Police spokesperson said, “Police were on mobile patrol at around 11:38pm on Friday night, in the area of Middle Road in Warwick just west of Spicelands Riding School when officers observed a motorcycle traveling in a westerly direction in an erratic manner nearly hitting a wall.

“Officers then stopped the motorcycle a few moments later and at that point they noticed the female rider’s breath smelled of intoxicants, she was unsteady on her feet and her speech was slurred.

“The woman was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving whilst impaired. She was taken to Hamilton Police station where she failed the Alco-analyzer she was processed and detained.”

    Just a thought, I wonder how much more in debt the government would be if people stopped drunk driving, and speeding? Hope it’s not a necessary evil…

      Come on “disliker”, you can’t ignore the massive income from traffic fines… We would still have the same number of police/lawyers/judges etc, they’d just be doing more important work if everyone obeyed the rules of the road! I’m not dissing anyone’s job…

  4. she should of used her common sense & choose not to get on her bike as she was putting her life & others @ state. now she has to face the courts, poor soul I have not mercy on her nor anybody else that drinks & rides or drive, SMFH she should be banned for 2dam years. NO MERCY
