Police Appeal: Help Locate Canadian Visitor

photo may 3 2014[Updated] The police are appealing for the public’s assistance in locating a 67 year old Canadian visitor.

Mr. William Grange — who suffers from short term memory loss —  arrived in Bermuda yesterday [May 2], and has subsequently gone missing.

A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a visitor to the island, 67 year old William Grange who was visiting from Ontario, Canada but staying at Cambridge Beaches.

“He is described as a white male, 5’9 with white hair, and was last seen wearing beige pants, blue shirt, brown jacket and brown shoes.

“He suffers from short term memory loss.

“Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 2950011,” the police spokesperson added.

Update May 4, 2.15pm: Police confirm that he is still missing, and appealed again for the public to contact police on 2950011 if you see Mr. Grange. They also provided another photo.

Update 3.28pm: A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service is continuing to appeal for the public’s assistance in locating 67 year old Canadian visitor William Grange.

“He is described as a white male, 5’9″ tall with white hair, who suffers from short term memory loss. Mr. Grange was last seen wearing beige pants, a blue shirt, brown jacket and brown shoes.

“Apparently the Ontario resident was reported missing Friday night from his vacation accommodation, Cambridge Beaches Resort in Sandys parish.

“Initial searches of the Cambridge Beaches Resort property as well as the surrounding Sandys parish area have failed to locate the 67 year old visitor.

“Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of 67 year old Canadian William Grange is urged to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011 immediately.”
