Spartans Win BHF Men’s Hockey Knockout
Spartans are the 2014 Bermuda Hockey Federation’s Men’s Knockout Champions after a match which ended Spartans 3 – Upstarts 2.
Hemijah Bean scored a Field Goal in the 20th minute to give the Spartans a 1 – 0 lead, Tony Ward drew the Upstarts level in the 23rd minute when he scored a Field Goal.
Ward would give the Upstarts the lead from a Penalty Corner in the 45th minute, but in the 53rd minute the Spartans were level when Chris Pacheco scored a Field Goal. With time running out Donovan Simmons scored from a Penalty Corner in the final minute to earn the Spartans the 3 – 2 win.
