Photos: Taxi Lands On Side In South Rd Accident

May 25, 2014

At approximately 4pm this afternoon [May 25], an accident occurred on South Road in Southampton near the junction with Eastdale Lane, resulting in a taxi van landing on its side.

We unofficially understand that the taxi may have been involved in a collision with a car which was seen near the accident scene. Initial reports indicate that no injuries were sustained in the incident and that traffic flow has been reduced to one lane until the car is removed and debris is cleared from the road.
