The third annual Bermuda Peace Day Concert took place on Friday night [Sept 19] at the Botanical Gardens, with a long list of musical talent taking the stage.
The event was hosted by Mike Hind, aka Uncle Elvis, and the line-up included Richard Spencer, Bermuda School of Music, Jamie Lawson, Biggie Irie, Chrissi Poland, Big Chill 5, BONES Blues Band, Silken Strings, Hamish Stuart Band, Splashband and more.
Tony Brannon, Bermuda Peace Day Concert organiser, said, “We would like to thank everyone who came to the show. The weather turned out great and the evening went flawlessly. In terms of numbers we would liked to have seen a bigger audience.
“Everyone involved did a great job, and we hope Bermuda had a good night of music and fun as we celebrate Peace Day that is officially tomorrow September 21st,” Mr. Brannon added.
“The variety of music was incredible and we thank all the entertainers, sponsors, crew, and volunteers. We hope to see you again in 2015. Peace Bermuda.”
