ADHT Day Of Remembrance Tickets On Sale

The ADHT Bermuda Foundation announced that tickets for the events that will take place during the week of 22nd March – 28th March 2015 to commemorate the 2015 International Day of Remembrance for the Victims of Slavery and the Transatlantic Slave Trade are now on sale at locations from Somerset to St. George’s.

Tickets available at: Caesar’s Pharmacy on Main Road, Somerset; Sidekicks sport store in the Washington Mall; the BIU Credit Union, Union Square; the Book Cellar on Water Street St. George’s, or call 236-2266 to reserve tickets.

  • Sunday 22nd March 4.00pm – Annual Commemorative Church Service – Cobbs Hill Methodist Church – Free
  • Tuesday 24th March 6.30pm – Annual Lecture Series Session #1 – Looking Back Critically – Bermuda College – $20 [16 & under free] – Presenters: Dr. Roiyah Saltus & Mr. Cordell Riley
  • Thursday 26th March 6.30pm – Annual Lecture Series Session #2 – Moving Forward Competently – $20 [16 & under free] – Presenters: Dr. Roiyah Saltus & Mr. Cordell Riley
  • Saturday 28th March 6.30pm – Small Bites – Big Music Concert under the patronage of Mr. Rotimi Martins – $50 – musical extravaganza highlighting the history of music from across the African Diaspora; live music; South African wine tasting; on sale at the event: soft drinks, wine by the glass or bottle, and culturally related items.
