90 Players To Compete In Squash Tournament
The draws for the 2015 Digicel Bermuda National Squash Championships have been released by the Bermuda Squash Racquets Association, with 90 players to compete for the four main titles of Men’s, Ladies, Men’s Veterans, and Ladies Veterans Champion.
A spokesperson said, “Three of the four defending champions return to attempt to retain their National titles. Current World number number 169 Micah Franklin is back in Bermuda looking to secure the title for a second year.
“Runa Reta tops the ladies draw in her search for a third successive title. Murray Brewer will be back in the Men’s Veterans attempting to beat a tough draw including his two brothers Jan and Richard in the race to the trophy.
“The only defending champion unable to compete this year is the 2014 Ladies Veterans Champion Liz Martin, unfortunately out through injury.”
Play begins on March 15 and will continue until finals night on March 20, 2015. All draws and schedules can be viewed online.
