Hamilton Princess: Official America’s Cup Hotel

The America’s Cup said they are “delighted to partner with Bermuda’s iconic Hamilton Princess & Beach Club as the official hotel of the 35th America’s Cup.”

“The Hamilton Princess & Beach Club – the “Grand Dame of Bermuda” – recently celebrated its 130th birthday and is a premier destination on the island,” the announcement said.

“The hotel has recently undergone a $100 million renovation resulting in the premier luxury hotel in Bermuda. Renovations include an upgrades to guest rooms, the launch of three new restaurants and the creation of a Beach Club and marina.”

“Located on Hamilton Harbor with a stunning waterfront view and easy access to shopping and restaurants, the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club is ideal for visitors to the island.”

“This is a great partnership for the America’s Cup,” said Harvey Schiller, the Commercial Commissioner of the 35th America’s Cup.

“The world-class accommodation and celebrated restaurants at the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club provide a perfect Bermuda experience for our guests who are coming to enjoy the America’s Cup.”

“Hosting the America’s Cup is a tremendous opportunity for Bermuda and being named the official hotel of this prestigious event is very exciting for the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club,” said Allan Federer, general manager at the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club.

“We look forward to hosting dignitaries in our newly designed rooms and key events for America’s Cup spectators in our state-of-the-art event space, restaurants and marina.”

The 35th America’s Cup is now underway with racing in the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series in Portsmouth this past weekend marking the opening event.

Racing comes to Bermuda in October, with the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series Bermuda, October 16-18, 2015.

    Ah yes, a fine choice by the America’s Cup committee to choose the Hamilton Princess. I will be staying between my own private island and my yacht for these events. I cannot slum it at a hotel like everybody else. I do quite enjoy Samuelson when I am not dining at Harry’s.

    and rightfully so with the amount of money the Green Family has invested in Bermuda and the number of Bermudian employees the hotel deserves the event and should charge whatever they can for this event…good for them

    no no no no Onion Juice,they bring dee price dawn so da the Gumant Workers can affor it.
    We have one third of our workforce here in Bermuda on contract like 11,300 work permits.
    I am still looking for these UN-EMPLOYED Bermudians everyone is talking about.
    NOT talking about the complainers or the PLP/BIU talking points I am talking about the un-employed.
