U.S. Consulate Meeting: Social Security Benefits

The U.S. Consulate will sponsor a public meeting to discuss U.S. Social Security benefits and related issues on November 3rd.

“The meeting will begin promptly at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3, 2015, in the “Bermudez Room” at XL Catlin, 1 Bermudiana Road, Hamilton,” the Consulate said.

“Speakers will include U.S. Consul General Mary Ellen Koenig, U.S. Consul Mila Millman and Ms. Vivian Adebayo, the Regional Federal Benefits Officer for the San Jose region of the U.S. Social Security Administration.

“Ms. Adebayo administers programs that pay approximately $450 million to nearly 67,000 beneficiaries throughout the Western Hemisphere [with the exclusion of beneficiaries residing in Canada, the United States, and Mexico].

“Those wishing to attend the meeting should provide their names by e-mail to hamiltonconsulate@state.gov or call 278-7504 no later than Friday, October 30, 2015.
