June 18, 2016

The much anticipated Bermuda Heroes Weekend kicked off with the ‘Five Star Friday’ event last night [June 17] at the North Field at the National Sports Centre.

The second event in the BHW festivities got underway early this morning at the Michael Preece Softball Stadium at Bernard’s Park in Pembroke., with crowds of people enjoying themselves at the J’Ouvert celebration.

The remaining BHW events – Parade of Bands, Pan in the Park and The Raft Up – will be held at their original locations and will go ahead in the event of inclement weather.
