BUEI Talks Set To Present ‘Downton Abbey’
The BUEI Talks series will continue with a presentation of ‘The Real-Life Inspirations Behind Downton Abbey’ with Jessica Fellowes on Thursday, October 20 at 7.30pm.
The event poster says, “Jessica Fellowes discusses the real-life inspiration behind ‘Downton Abbey’ with the unique insight she has as niece of creator and writer, Julian Fellowes.
“Using images from the show and her five books, as well as her own behind-the scenes photographs, clips that reminds audiences of the show’s crisp humor and even audience interactions, she draws deft parallels between the Downton era and today.
“Fans of the show and history alike will enjoy her lively presence and easy telling of what it was like to be both at home with the family and behind the green baize door.”
The presentation will get underway on Thursday, October 20 at 7.30pm, with a Sushi Happy Hour to be held at Harbourfront from 5.00pm to 6.30pm, dinner opening at 6.00pm, and a book signing at 7.00pm.
