Photos & Video: World Teachers Day Celebrated

The Corporation of St. George celebrated UNESCO World Teacher’s Day today [Oct 5] with an event at King’s Square in St. George’s.

The ceremony included musical performances, the Town Crier, speeches from Mayor Quinell Francis and Education Minister Wayne Scott, and presentations to honour Heather Foggo [former teacher at East End Primary] and Phillip Spencer [former teacher at St. George's Prep] in order to acknowledge them for their work over the years.

    It’s not funny when the seat of Government and settlement was founded there in St. George and all that history is just a relic of an empty town.

    Gives a new meaning that will bite Bermuda in the a** after Americas Cup has faded.
