Photos: Charity Christmas Trees Decorated

A number of charity Christmas trees were recently decorated, with the public invited to view the trees and cast a vote for their favorite in an initiative sponsored by Sun Life Financial and Washington Properties.

The trees are available to be seen at Washington Mall. Organizations taking part are eligible to win a grand prize of a $2,500 donation, a second prize of a $1,000 donation, and a third prize of a $750 donation.

A total of 11 charities decorated the trees, including Bermuda Red Cross, Bermuda Housing Trust for Seniors, Alzheimer’s Family Support Group, Bermuda Diabetes Association, Westmeath Residential, Bermuda Society for the Blind, Acton on Alzheimer’s & Dementia, Packwood Home, Meals on Wheels, Matilda Smith Williams Seniors Residence, and The Salvation Army.

Votes can be cast until December 16, with ballot boxes available both downstairs and upstairs in the mall.
