Elmore Warren: ‘Give Voice To Concerns, Ideas’

July 5, 2017

Independent candidate Elmore Warren — who will be running in C#21 Pembroke South East — released a flyer, saying he is asking the “constituents of Pembroke South East to be the first to elect an independent candidate in 2017 to give a voice to their concerns and ideas.”

Mr Warren will run in C#21, a seat which is currently held by the PLP’s Rolfe Commissiong, who won with 53.55% of the vote in the 2012 General Election. Mr Commissiong will stand in this election again, while Rodney Smith is the OBA’s candidate.

“I am honored to offer myself in service to you as an independent candidate on July 18th and, if elected, will give a genuine voice to your needs, concerns and interests. Equally, I will help to rejuvenate community spirit and economic growth in your constituency,” Mr Warren said

“This decision to run as ‘The Peoples Representative’ has been a 20-year journey, having been a part of the political machine for many years, and turned down being a candidate more than 4 times.”

“One group tried to buy me into the party; and the other was creating too many internal divisions. With humility I stepped aside for the greater good…harmony. During these years I have taken the time to learn and grow, and see what is truly needed in the political process that has been lacking.”
