Photos: Argentina & Lions Win Rugby Classic

[Updated] The third day of the 2017 Bermuda World Rugby Classic saw Argentina and the Classic Lions claim victories.

Classic Semi-Final: Argentina 25 France 6

Argentina took the lead in the 6th minute with a Alejandro Galli try, but with the Conversion missed the score remained 5-0, and then Anthony Lagardere kicked a penalty for France in the 17th minute to make the score 5-3.

Lagardere kicked another penalty in the 25th minute to put France ahead 6-5, and Ferierico Serra kicked a penalty for Argentina to give them back the lead in the 27th minute, with Argentina taking the 8-6 lead.

Federico Castilla scored another try for Argentina and the conversion was good for Serra to make the score 15-6, Serra would kick another Penalty 19 minutes into the second half to make it 19-6, and then Gomez went over for a try and Serra kicked the conversion to make the score 25-6.

Classic Plate Semi-Final: Classic Lions 31 Canada 5

Richard Carter gave the Lions the lead 5-0, Sean Lamont made it 10-0 in the 12th minute and with Ceri Sweeney kicking the conversion it made the score 12-0.

Canada would get on the board when Derek Townsend scored making the score 12-5, the teams went to the break with no further points scored.

In the second half, the Classic Lions would get a try from Carter and Adam Black to go along with two conversions from Sweeney to make the score 26-5 to the Classic Lions.

David Corkery would score a try in the final minute for the Classic Lions to make the final score 31-5.
