The Bermuda Cricket Board [BCB] is offering its congratulations to everyone who received awards this year, highlighting in particular St. David’s CCC [One Communications Premier Division Champions and BCB T20 Champions] and St. George’s CC [One Communications 1st Division Champions].

A spokesperson said, “The Board would like to thank Goslings for donating the beautiful Goslings Wine Cellar to host the event, One Communications for sponsoring the 50 Overs league and both One Communications and Chivas for donating countless prizes.”

One Communications Premier Division Champions – St. David’s County Cricket Club:

“Dion Stovell scored 397 with 3 not outs with a season average and league high average of 79.04. He also managed to claim the 2nd most wickets, 17. Dion had the most catches in the Premier holding onto 10 catches. His amazing form helped guide St. David’s to another league title and T20 championship.

“One Communications 1st Division Most Catches – Macai Simmons from St. George’s CC and Sean Perinchief from Somerset Bridge with 6 catches.

“One Communications Premier Division Most Catches – Dion Stovell from St. David’s County Cricket Club with 10 catches.

“One Communications 1st Division League Most Runs – Kwasi James from Willow Cuts CC who made 421 runs.

“One Communications Premier League Most Runs – Malachi Jones from Bailey’s Bay CC who made 471 runs.”

“One Communications First Division MVP – Kwasi James of Willow Cuts CC – Kwasi James scored the most runs in First Division scoring a total of 421 runs with a high score of 106, thus scoring 1 century and 3 fifties at an average of 46.78. Kwasi also claimed 19 wickets for the season finishing right behind our other candidate for most wickets.
