Passenger Assaults Police Officer After Collision
The police responded to a collision in Somerset, and the passenger was subsequently arrested after he apparently turned on the attending officers and assaulted them on arrival.
The police tweeted saying, “Friday – 2 members of BPS attend a single veh m/cycle collision in Somerset. Rider taken to KEMH by a member of the public [road rash].
“Passenger turns on attending officers and assaults them on arrival. Arrested for court on Monday. The risks of policing highlighted.”
