Daylight Saving: Set Clocks Ahead One Hour

March 10, 2018 | 2 Comments

Daylight saving time will begin on Sunday, March 11, requiring people across the island to set clocks forward one hour, with most internet-connected devices making the change automatically.

Daylight saving time sees clocks adjusted forward one hour near the start of spring and then adjusted back one hour in autumn. Time will fall back one hour on November 4, when daylight saving time comes to an end.

Reminder! Daylight Savings Time 1c2

  1. Hmmm says:

Why cant daylight savings time be like on a Monday at 4pm?

    • Family Man says:

      ikr.

Since we’re giving our tourists an extra hour of sunshine during the summer and we get most of our tourists from the USA and Canada, we should make it easy on them and switch to driving on the right for daylight savings and then we can switch back to driving on the left for the rest of the year.

We do it for that center lane on East Broadway every day, we should be able to do it Island wide twice a year. Easy.

/sarcasm off – just in case it wasn’t obvious.
