Bermuda YAO Baseball League: Cubs Win
During the most recent round of YAO Senior League Baseball Play, the Cubs defeated the Yankees 11 – 6.
It was a close game from the start, with the Yankees Nic Martin striking out six and holding the Cubs to 3 runs over 3 innings.
Micaiah Furbert struggled at the start giving up 3 in the first, but settled down, before giving up two in the 3rd.
With the Yankees leading going in to the bottom of the fourth, the Cubs broke out with 5 runs in the bottom of the inning, led by Nyle Trott with 2 RBI’s.
Yankees were led by Brett Baumgartner with two hits, Sam Resnik shut down the Yankees in the final 3 innings, striking out 6 and no runs.
