Kiwanis Club Donates To Teen Services & Haven

The Kiwanis Club of Hamilton has made a donation of $1,000 to Teen Services and Teen Haven from the 65th Birthday Party Fundraiser of Immediate Past Lieutenant Governor Lionel Swan.

A spokesperson said, “The donation will be used to help with the expense and operation of Teen Haven which is a home for Teen Mothers and their young children.

“Teen Haven is Hamilton Club’s signature project with Kiwanis International in keeping with its programme ‘Young Children Priority One’ for ages 0-5 years.

“The motto of Kiwanis International is ‘to serve the children of the world.’ The Hamilton Club also recognizes the celebration of Teen Haven’s 50th anniversary last year and its 51st year of valuable service this year to the community.”
