Video: Car Blaze On Harbour Road Extinguished

[Updated with video] Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service personnel responded to a car fire on Harbour Road in Warwick this evening [Feb 27] where firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the blaze.

BFRS Staff Officer Sergeant Allan Wilkinson said, “Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service received a call via 911 reporting a car fire just east of Longford Hill on Harbour Road in Warwick. Upon arrival firefighters notice the vehicle fully involved in fire.

“Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze and the cause is currently under investigation. The driver of the vehicle stated he noticed flames in the engine compartment, and also other motorist were trying to get his attention. The driver exited the vehicle without injury.”

    Only in Bermuda do you see these incidents happening on a very regular scale.
    It’s deliberate,bad wiring of boom boxes or poor maintenance.
