Photos & Video: Bermuda Rugby Defeat Jamaica

The Bermuda rugby team made an impressive showing to claim a 43 – 14 win over Jamaica in their match at the National Sports Centre this weekend.

Bermuda dominated the scoring in the first half and went to the break leading 22 – 14 after scoring four tries and one conversion.

The second half saw Bermuda score three more tries while shutting out Jamaica to pick up the win.

Bermuda got three tries from Ian Healy, Conor McGlynn would go over twice, while Jamie Baum and Alex Brown both added a try each, and Brian Archibald kicked four conversions.

Following the match, the Jamaica Rugby Football Union posted on social media saying, “Rough day at the office today, Bermuda play a better game and walk away with the win. Thanks for hosting us Bermuda Rugby.”
